Francis Markham
Francis Markham is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research (CAEPR) at the Australian National University. A non-Indigenous academic and economic geographer by training, Francis teaches and researches Indigenous public policy. He has worked on a wide range of public policy research projects on topics including Indigenous population change, social security and employment policy, and land rights and native title. Francis is currently engaged in a four-year participatory, co-designed evaluation of the NSW Government’s flagship Aboriginal Affairs initiative, Local Decision Making.
